Koode Project Background

Koode Project

Koode Project

The Need:
Koode is a resource center created in response to a growing social need. Families of children with special needs often face challenges like confusion about their child's development, emotional stress, and not knowing where to find help. Delays in getting the right support can lead to missed opportunities for early intervention, which is crucial for a child's growth and family well-being.

Koode ensures early screening, connects parents to proper therapies, and helps families understand their child's needs to take the right steps at the right time. It strives to be a trusted point of contact, offering guidance, emotional support, and a sense of community for families who often feel alone.

Our Mission:
Koode resource center works to bridge the gap between families and the care their children need. It identifies and supports families of children with special needs under twelve years through early screening, accurate referrals, psychoeducation, and sustained community engagement.

Our Vision
To envision Koode as a trusted resource center in Kollam for families of children with special needs. Where families receive early assistance, feel empowered, and find support through awareness and prompt intervention.
